Drivers are being warned of delays as work has restarted in Ulverston by United Utilities on the A590.
The work is being carried out to connect a new McDona;d’s development to the water network and is taking place at the Booths roundabout at Oubas Hill.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place from 9am to 4pm each day and will be removed at regular intervals throughout the day to let traffic through.
A spokesman for United Utilities said: “We have introduced a number of work practices aimed at limiting the time we’re working on site and making sure there are no roadworks in place during rush hour. We’re doing everything we can to finish the job and get off site as quickly as possible.”
