Festus Arthur has been recalled from his loan spell at Barrow by his parent club Hull City.
The defender joined The Bluebirds at the beginning of August and has gone on to make 15 appearances in all competitions, scoring in the 2-2 Papa John’s Trophy game at Accrington Stanley.
However, the 21-year-old centre-back has now been recalled by The Tigers and will return to The MKM Stadium.
The former Stockport County centre-back has made two first team appearances for the Tigers
“I would like to thank Festus for all his efforts during his time with the Club,” said boss Mark Cooper.
“I would also thank Hull City for allowing him to come to Barrow in the first place and we wish them and Festus all the very best for the future.”
But Arthur is not alone as midfielder Callum Jones has also been recalled from his loan spell with Morecambe.
Jones, 20, netted two goals in 18 matches for the League One Shrimps, including a fine free-kick in the 2-1 derby win at Fleetwood Town.
A Welsh youth international Jones has played seven times for the Hull first team, scoring and captaining the side once.
