An unattended candle led to a house fire in Carlisle.
Shortly after 2pm on Friday, three fire engines attended a fire in a top floor flat in Lyndhurst Gardens.
After breaking into the Morton flat, crews found a smoke-filled living room and a well-developed fire in the floorboards.
Crews were at the scene for about an hour and a half.
