The National Trust is looking for a local small catering business to run their cafe at Acorn Bank, near Penrith.

This opportunity is open to anyone from a start-up business to an established trader, so long as they are insured and focussed on providing great food and drink and high-quality customer service.

The team are looking for someone to offer hot drinks and cakes to begin with but are flexible and open to ideas on menu development.

The pitch can be filled immediately and is available from now until at least October 2023, with a minimum requirement of weekend and bank holiday opening.

However, Acorn Bank is open seven days a week, giving the new provider the choice to extend operations should they wish. It offers an ideal opportunity for a new trader to gain some experience in a popular visitor attraction, as well as scope for further expansion.

Anyone with an interest is encouraged to contact Operations Manager Alastair for an informal chat: [email protected].
