The big Cumbrian derby has been selected by the BBC as their televised tie in the fifth round of the Challenge Cup.
Barrow Raiders were first out of the bag in Monday’s draw against county rivals Workington Town, and was the stand-out tie.
Last season Barrow won the League One title with Town finishing runners-up and their game at Craven Park had finished as a draw.
The return at Derwent Park was postponed because of COVID and was never rearranged.
The game is being played on Sunday, March 13 with a 1pm kick-off. Whitehaven are at home on the same day against York City Knights with a 3pm start.
The most notable Challenge Cup match between Barrow and Town was in 1955 at Wembley when the Furness side lifted the trophy after beating Town 21-12 in front of 66,513.

Town had been there three years before and had beaten Featherstone Rovers 18-10 to win the trophy for the first – and subsequently – the only time in their history. They did go back in 1958 and lost to Wigan.
Vince McKeating, a hooker who had played in Town’s final victory was with Barrow in 1955 and he scored one of their three tries. Dennis Goodwin and Frank Castle also crossed for Barrow with the great Willie Horne landing five goals and a drop goal.
Kenny Faulder and Eppie Gibson scored the Town tries with Australian Tony Paskins kicking three goals. It had been 2-2 at half-time with a penalty apiece.
It was Barrow’s only Challenge Cup victory although they have been runners-up on four occasions. Barrow’s second row forward Jack Grundy won the Lance Todd Trophy for man of the match.
