A 33-year-old man has died following a collision in Carlisle.
The incident, involving two vehicles, occurred at around 3pm on Wigton Road yesterday, March 21, outside the Richard Rose Academy.
An air ambulance was called to the scene.
Cumbria police said it involved an orange Ford Transit van and a Suzuki motorbike.
The motorcyclist, of Carlisle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed while investigations were carried out and reopened at around 9pm.
