Barrow Raiders will be in the draw for the quarter finals of the Betfred Challenge Cup – even though they won’t have played their sixth round tie with Huddersfield Giants

The quarter final draw will be held at Headingley Stadium at half-time in today’s sixth round tie between Leeds Rhinos and Castleford Tigers – and covered live on BBC2, which will kick-off at 4.30pm.

Barrow’s game tomorrow against the Giants kicks off at 4.30pm at the Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium – which will be shown live on the BBC.

Barrow Raiders and Huddersfield Giants have been drawn as ball number 8 in the quarter final draw. Those ties will be played on the weekend of April 8-10.

The draw for the Play-Off and Semi Finals of the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup will be broadcast live on BBC Radio Cumbria on Monday, March 28, at 9.15am.

The Play-Off will be played on the weekend of April 9-10, with the Semi Finals on the weekend of May 7-8 – and the Final at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday May 28.

Draw numbers will be confirmed on Sunday evening, after the Betfred Challenge Cup Sixth Round has been completed.

The full list of draw numbers are as follows:

  1. Wigan Warriors or Salford Red Devils
  2. Sheffield Eagles or Hull FC
  3. Whitehaven or St Helens
  4. Catalans Dragons or Featherstone Rovers
  5. Hull KR or Leigh Centurion
  6. Leeds Rhinos or Castleford Tiger
  7. Warrington Wolves or Wakefield Trinity
  8. Barrow Raiders or Huddersfield Giants

Whitehaven will be the first into action when they play the Challenge Cup holders St Helens with a 2pm start.
