Men demand money from man in Penrith

Two men demanded money from another man on a footpath in Penrith.

Police are investigating an incident on April 9 between 9.10pm and 10pm on a footpath off Clifford Road, leading towards Kemplay Bank.

A man has been approached by two men who have made demands for money from the victim. The two men were also with a woman.

One of the men is described as white, aged in his 20s, 5ft 8in, thin build, black eyebrows, clean-shaven with a pale complexion and was wearing dark clothes. The second man is described as stocky, 5ft 10ins and was wearing dark clothes.

The woman is described as aged in her 20s, 5ft 7ins, stocky with short back hair and was wearing a light peach coloured tracksuit top and bottoms.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen the offenders or anyone acting suspiciously in the area.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 67 of April 10. Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers, completely anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
