Cleator Moor Celtic under-16s

Cleator Moor Celtic under-16s are making it a season to remember after adding another piece of silverware to the trophy cabinet.

Already crowned county champions at their age level they collected the West Cumbria Youth League title with a 5-2 victory over Windscale.

The title has been wrapped up by the young Celts with four league games still to be played.

It isn’t all over, either, as Celtic still have the League Cup final to look forward to next month.

As well as the club’s under-16s achievement over the weekend, the Celtic club enjoyed a special age group festival with teams from several clubs taking part.

It was glorious weather, too, which added to the enjoyment of the day for youngsters, parents and coaches.

Elwyn Evans, who does such a good job for Cumbria Crack in Cleator Moor, was there of course and here are a sample of his pictures featuring the successful Celtic under-16s and the Easter junior tournament.
