Workington Town will take an unchanged squad to Dewsbury for the Betfred Championship clash against the Rams.
Head coach Chris Thorman has named the same 21 players who were initially selected for the Easter Sunday derby at Whitehaven.
Town are looking for their first points in the competition but did score a Challenge Cup win over Dewsbury, who have only two Championship points themselves.
Despite the derby defeat Thorman was generally pleased with the performance at the LEL Arena, particularly the first-half effort and is looking for more of the same over 80 minutes against the Rams.
Thorman was particularly pleased to see utility forward David Weetman come through the derby game with no reaction from his long-term injury and he retains his place in the squad.
“I thought he did ever so well and after being out for so long it was great to see him out there, staying the pace and suffering no reaction,” said Thorman.
Loan signings Dan Brewin (Warrington) and Will Tate (Hull KR) also retain their places but another Warrington loanee Luke Broadbent is still unavailable as he is still recovering from the effects of illness
Dec O’Donnell (shoulder) and Curtis Teare (elbow/arm) are still not able to resume and will be having further checks this coming week on their injuries.
Dewsbury have brought in second row forward Luis Johnson on dual registration from Hull KR this week so he will be in direct opposition to Robins team-mate Tate. However the Rams will be without former Super League winger Ben Blackmore who has concussion.
On Workington Greenwood said, “They have had some really tough fixtures and have struggled so far but they’ve got a couple of players back and have brought in some players on loan, including Will Tate who we had here for the Leigh game.
“They played well in their last game against Whitehaven and Chris will be getting his side up for this one and I’ve no doubt he’ll be confident after their win against us in the cup earlier this year.”
Town squad: Barnes, Brewin, Brown, Clarke, Clegg, Doran, Fitzsimmons, Forber, Henson, Hutchings, O’Brien, Olstrom, Postlethwaite, Simons, Steele, Tate, Thomas, Thomson, Walker, Weetman, Young.
The Dewsbury squad is: Beckett, Beharrell, Butterworth, Carr, Dixon, Gabriel, Graham, Greensmith. Johnson, Kidd, Knowles, Magrin, Ryder, Schofield, Speakman, Stevens, Sweeting, Sykes, Tomlinson, Trout, Walker.
