A Workington road has been cordoned off while emergency services are on the scene.
Harrington Road has been closed to traffic between the traffic lights and the Spar store.
Police, the fire service and an ambulance are in attendance.
It is believed that a vehicle has hit a lamppost and collided with a parked car, which has hit a house around Islay Place.
It is being reported that at least one person has been taken to hospital.
