Ned’s Gain, who won at the May Day Trails on Monday was an impressive winner again at last night’s trails at Kirkland.
Jonty and Evie Moor’s in-form pup came clear on the finish to win well from Huntsman’s Rebel, who had followed him home at Helton with Huntsman’s Rascal, Monday’s puppy maiden winner in third.
Best finish in the three trails was in the opening senior trail where the fast-finishing Kinniside Dan just failed to peg-back Duchess Ava with Huntsman’s Que a close-up third.
The open maiden trail rounded-off the meeting and there was a comfortable win for Biff who had plenty to spare at the line from Thorn Pop and Persian Gold.
The next two meetings programmed are both at Kirkland – on Saturday and again on Monday.
