A lottery has been launched to help a South Cumbrian park – and players could win up to £2,500.

Ford Park in Ulverston is a charity-run community park. Playing the Ford Park giving lottery means a chance of winning up to £2,500 each month and as a bonus, a draw will be made on June 26 with a chance of winning £1,000 towards a Forest holiday.

Volunteers support the maintenance and management of Ford Park, which has been part of Ulverston for generations.

Jill Salmon, of the charity, said: “Each lottery ticket bought helps our small charity maintain and care for the park we all love, enabling us to keep Ford Park safe, accessible and attractive for everyone. We know how challenging things are right now, and by playing our lottery, not only do you support our wonderful park but could win up to £2,500. It’s a perfect way for users of the park to help support all the work that goes on!”

Tickets cost from £1 and can be bought here.
