The return to Latrigg last night was not overly contested with 27 runners for the four trails.

That was probably down to the hotter weather or the increased number of meetings this week.

Whatever, it was another good night for Denise Bland and her Patterdale team of Huntsmen! She had a double on the night and a number of other tickets.

The most significant win came in the pups where Huntsman’s Rebel was successful again, now with 17 wins and forging clear at the top of the championship table.

The double had been initiated in the senior trail where Huntsman’s Que was the winner.

There was another successful Yorkshire raid as Tom, Sarah and Ryan Bell took the open maidens from Imagine.

Geoff and Barbara Jones from Ulverston won the open restricted with Lily from Huntsman’s Nimrod.
