
The weather wiped out Cumbria League’s Premier Division programme with all six games abandoned.
It leaves Carlisle with a five-point lead at the top from Cockermouth with Keswick two points further back in third.
At the bottom Whitehaven have 31 points which is 14 from safety as Dalton (45) and Egremont (51) are the ones looking over their shoulders.
All the teams have seven games left to play with the season set to end on September 17.
The League’s major Cup final has been set for Sunday, August 21 at Whitehaven when Workington, the holders, take on Wigton who will be bidding for their first success in the competition.
League matches this coming Saturday are: Carlisle v Wigton; Dalton v Furness; Haverigg v Egremont; Keswick v Cleator; Millom v Workington; Whitehaven v Cockermouth.
