Max Litt is continuing the goal-scoring form he showed last season with Flimby Social Club as he continues to bang them in for his new club Salterbeck.

He marked his Salterbeck debut on the opening day of the Workington and District League season with a brace in a 4-2 win at Dearham.

This Sunday he doubled that contribution with four as Salterbeck proved too strong for Sun Inn with a 7-3 home win.

Charlie Shaw, Carl McCoy and Conor Askew were also on target for Salterbeck with Dan Pearson, Richard O’Keefe and Matt Prior responding for Sun Inn.

Deer Orchard recovered from their mauling by champions Northside by beat Flimby Social Club 7-2.

The Orchard goals came from Callum West (2), Luke Graham (2), Ryan Gorley, Luke Harrison and Milo Cooke. Scoring for Flimby were Lazo Rayner and Darren McKenzie.

Northside are still going to be the team to beat and they made it two from two when they won 4-0 at Sun Inn Athletic..

Callum Killick (2). Gary O’Driscoll and Jamie Bramley scored the goals for the champions.

After two weeks we are still waiting for the first draw and the nearest to one was Maryport Athletic’s 2-1 win at Seaton Rangers and Blue Bell’s 3-2 victory over Dearham.

Josh Pattinson scored both for the Athletic with Guy Richardson keeping the Seaton side in touch.

Carl Denver, Grant Quayle and Harry Watson saw Blue Bell through to the narrow win against Dearham with Jack Brown scoring both for the visitors.

The other game was pretty tight, too, with Rangers winning 2-0 at Senhouse as Matthew Perry and Owen Wood found the target.
