On the eve of a reunion with his old boss Anthony Murray, prop forward Brad Brennan has announced he is staying at Whitehaven.
The Ortus Rec club has announced the re-signing of Brennan, which will see the popular front-rower remain with the club until the end of the 2027 campaign.
Brennan, 33, has so far made 39 appearances in Haven colours since signing ahead of the 2025 season scoring six tries and becoming a firm fans favourite in the last 18 months.
Brennan said: “I’m over the moon to sign again as the club is fantastic and I’m really enjoying my time here.
“I joined during the rebuild and I’ve seen this team grow. It’s exciting to see where the club can go and where it is heading.”
Brennan will be up against Swinton Lions today at the Ortus Rec and it was their coach Murray who signed him for Whitehaven.
