Teens arrested after assault in Carlisle park

Two teenagers have been arrested after an assault in a Carlisle park.

A 14-year-old sustained facial injuries in the attack, which happened at Melbourne Park, near Borland Avenue, on September 12.

Police said a 16-year-old boy from the Carlisle area and 14-year-old boy from the London area were arrested and released on bail.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses to come forward. The incident happened near the multi use gaming area at around 4pm.
