
A man in his 70s remains in hospital in a stable condition following a serious collision in the Lake District earlier this month.
The pensioner, who was walking in Market Place, Ambleside, was involved in the collision with a Renault Megane at around 8am on Monday October 10.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Renault, a 33-year-old man, was uninjured. He was arrested in connection with the collision and has since been released under investigation.
