
Police are investigating burglaries in Natland, Burton and Storth where gold jewellery was targeted.
The burglaries took place last week between Wednesday 19 and Friday 21, with incidents believed to have happened during the early evening.
Jewellery – in particular gold – and cash were targeted in unoccupied properties. Police are looking to identify any witnesses and are asking communities to report any suspicious activity in their area.
Police are also asking those living in the targeted areas to be extra vigilant and take extra precaution with unoccupied properties as evenings are getting darker.
