Barrow’s PCSOs have been visiting shops in the town, asking traders not to sell eggs and flour to youngsters over this Halloween weekend.
A Facebook post from Barrow police said: “What may seem like fun to some can severely impact on vulnerable members of our communities.”
There will also be extra patrols to target anti-social behaviour and those who ‘don’t want to partake in Halloween traditions respectfully’ officers said.
