Police are investigating a hate-related public order incident in Carlisle.
A 31-year-old woman from Carlisle has been arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated fear of violence by words, intimidating a witness and common assault. She has been released on police bail.
The incident happened at around 3pm on October 26 on Botchergate in the area of the County Hotel.
Two women and two men were involved and police are appealing for anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed what happened.
