Award winners revealed for Cumbria’s RPRA

The Cumbria region of the RPRA has announced winners of the 2022 Region awards from last season.

Category A is for the OB Inland when the winner was Carlisle ace Peter Kirkwood with the Workington Victoria loft of Evans and Abraham the runners-up.

Category B – OB Channel went to the Egremont Rangers partnership of John Wilson and Neil Buchanan with the Aspatria partnership of Berwick, Harker, Thompson and Watson the runners-up.

In Category C – Combined OB the Workington Victoria loft of Richard Martindale and George Lawman were the winners ahead of club-mates Blacklock and Sons

Category D is for Young Birds and again it was Martindale and Lawman who were the winners from Wilson and Buchanan.

The Cumbria Young Fancier award went to Oliver Longford of Carlisle while the Tattersall/Blacklock Cup for Services to the sport went to Danny Rodgers of Cleator Moor.

The presentations will take place on December 3 at 2pm in the Union Jack Club, Workington.
