A Cumbrian country house hotel is gearing up for a busy Christmas – and its owners say it is all systems go.

Edenhall Country House Hotel, in Edenhall, is run by Wayne and Paula Williams. The pair have been at the helm for 15 years and are looking forward to a post-pandemic festive period.

Wayne says Edenhall Country House Hotel is proud to be part of the community and will continue to be so.

He added: “We’re not planning to go anywhere. We’re proud of the hotel, love our community and proud of our staff who offer a first class service. It’s business as usual for us.

“We are always very busy and Christmas this year is no different. Our guests come back year after year on Christmas Day. In fact, when they finish their meal on December 25, they often book straightaway for the year after!

“It’s lovely having regulars like that – it’s almost like having a huge family Christmas as you see the same faces!

“Luckily, post-pandemic, our customers have been really supportive and returned. But Christmas means it ramps up a level for us all – and we love it. It’s great to see people enjoying themselves.”
