Oak Tree Animals’ Charity is holding its Christmas Fair at Oak Tree Farm, Wetheral, this month.
Pop along and join them for a day of festive fun for all the family – including your pet dog! The fair starts at 10am on Saturday, November 19 and is open until 3pm, with the tearoom staying open until 4pm.
Don’t miss the demonstration by ex-resident, Morag, and her owner, Matt from Penrith Mountain Rescue Team (this may be cancelled last minute in the event of an emergency call out). Meet and make enrichment boxes for the donkeys and watch the presents being presented to the donkeys.
Sign your dogs up for the Christmas-themed Fun Dog Show (registration opens at 10am) and a chance to make your own dog treats. Let the kiddies visit Santa’s grotto and receive a gift by Santa Paws himself.
Visit the Christmas Craft Fair which will house local business selling a range of items, many of which will be handmade, making the perfect Christmas gifts.
There will be tombolas for adults, children and pets and you will be able to buy Christmas Grand Draw tickets for a chance to win some excellent prizes kindly donated by generous local sponsors. There will be plenty of games and activities to keep the whole family happy.

Continuing the charity’s very popular children’s trail, look out for a one-off special Christmas Donkey Trail only available to do on the day and when you feel in need of refreshments, the tearoom will be serving delicious food all day.
It will be the last day of the Orchard Yard Sale so go and grab some bargains before it closes for the winter months. Refreshments will be available in Orchard Yard too.
Help to raise vital funds for Oak Tree whilst having a fabulous day out and getting into the Christmas spirit with all the family.
