
Flimby show race for any age cock and longest inland race attracted 70 entries in the first part – the show – with £128 paid out to the winners.
There are 76 entries into the race with £228 guaranteed in prizemoney to fly for and £62 in nominations.
The show was judged by George Lawman who gave tickets as follows:

This Wednesday will be the show for the first channel race and will be for any age hens.
Workington Victoria are holding just one show/race event this time and it will be for any age cock or hen on Friday, December 30 in the Union Jack Club (judging 7.30pm).
The race will be from Marlborough, or its equivalent, with a six bird limit. Race entries need not be shown but ring numbers must be produced on the night of the show.
Entry is £3 per bird (£2.50 of which is for the race) and there will be a single race nom at £2.
