Traffic has been brought to a standstill on the A66 near Appleby this morning following a multi-vehicle collision.
The Appleby bypass eastbound is reported to be closed, with queueing traffic, due to the incident, from Appleby to Coupland.
Police were called at about 8.50am to the incident. The vehicles involved were a Volvo, Nissan and a Tesla.
No serious injuries have been reported and the road reopened at around 2pm.
