Emergency services were called after a truck hit a West Cumbrian bridge – dislodging its cargo.
The truck was driving on Main Road in Seaton when the incident happened this morning, December 13. Two containers managed to come loose from their moorings.
Police said there was heavy traffic due to the incident and restrictions on Main Road both ways at Lowca Lane.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area around the bridge in Seaton at Main Road, near Lowca Lane and Causeway Road. The road reopened this afternoon.
