Workington Comets will complete their 2023 team plans on Christmas Eve with the last of the seven riders to be announced.
The latest double signing of Harry and Sam McGurk to take the numbers if up six has been well received ahead of the new era of National Development League racing at Northside.
The brothers join the Comets after spending the last two seasons with Belle Vue, and it means the Cumbrian outfit have just the one place remaining in their line-up to be announced on Saturday.
Promoter Andrew Bain said: “The signings of Harry and Sam are excellent additions to the team and will provide a very solid backbone.
“Both lads were regulars at Northside, and it is great to have the opportunity to have them ride for the Comets in our first season back.”
The vast majority of the team, in fact, learnt their speedway at Northside from an early age and seems rather fitting that they have come together to form a revived Comets team.
