Workington Victoria show results

Fanciers who entered Workington Victoria’s show last night will be flying for £230 from the race next season.

There were 78 entries for any age cock or hen and they were judged by David Wilson and Alan Spedding.

The prize money for the show was £55 and the tickets were awarded as follows:

4. Martindale and Lawman

5 Williams and Hadfield

6 D. Harrison and son

7 D. Harrison and son

8 McLuckie bros

The race will be for old birds from Marlborough or its equivalent and the prize money will be distributed as follows – 1^st, £100; 2^nd, £60; 3^rd, £40; Nom, £30.
