A Carlisle primary school’s play equipment has been damaged for the second time – and police believe children are to blame.
Officers are investigating after damage was caused to play huts in the playground of Pennine Way Primary School, believed to have happened between December 22 and December 31.
A spokesman said: “Police are appealing for any witnesses and also to parents in the area as it is suspected that it is children causing the damage.
“Police are also urging parents to speak to their children to raise awareness of what is occurring and the negative impact on your own community caused by such incidents.”
