Workington and District Sunday League returns

Workington and District Sunday League returned to action after the Christmas/New Year break.

Only one game was played, however, with a few pitches left unplayable by weather conditions.

In that fixture champions Northside won 5-1 against Seaton.

Callum Killick helped himself to a hat-trick while Jamie Bramley added a brace.

The Seaton reply came from Dom McGee.

It took Northside to the top of the table on goal difference from Blue Bell but they also have a game in hand.

Seaton Rangers remain bottom of the League with just a single point.

The League games scheduled for next Sunday are: Blue Bell v Rangers; Seaton Rangers v Sun Inn Athletic; Sun Inn v Senhouse Street.

Three Cup games are also taking place: Dearham v Northside; Flimby Social v Maryport Athletic; Salterbeck v Deer Orchard.
