Barrow Raiders’ home will continue to be known as the Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium during the upcoming Betfred Championship campaign.

Barrow Raiders have confirmed  that Matt Johnson Prestige will continue as the club’s main sponsors throughout the 2023 season and the deal includes stadium naming rights.

As a result, ahead of the new season, Matt Johnson Prestige will have enhanced visibility, both across the club’s digital platforms and in-person on a matchday at Craven Park.

Matt Johnson Prestige is a family-run business, specialising in the acquisition and sale of sports, luxury and prestige vehicles.

Mr Johnson has huge experience in the sport and prestige sector, previously being a co-director of a very successful company.

On his decision to renew, Mr Johnson said: “I decided to continue supporting the Raiders in 2023 off the back of another great season.

“I’m very pleased and proud to be involved with the progression of the club, and I’m delighted to do my bit.

“To me and my family, it is an integral part of our lives. We’re all big sports fans and it’s something we enjoy doing together.

“As a business, I hope that this furthers a good feeling towards Matt Johnson Prestige as we continue to support such a worthy cause in the town.”

Barrow Raiders chairman Steve Neale said: “We are delighted that Matt Johnson remains the club’s main sponsor and retains the stadium naming rights.

“Matt has supported the club over a prolonged period of time and we simply wouldn’t survive without sponsors like him, so it is great that his support continues.”

Barrow Raiders are at home on Sunday with a pre-season friendly against Workington Town.
