Despite a 2-0 home defeat to Northampton Town, Barrow manager Pete Wild is looking forward to another tough test on Tuesday night.
The Bluebirds travel to Carlisle to take-on a United side who are flying and for a while during Saturday’s round of games had replaced Northampton in the top three.
“The fans will build-up, of course, but for us it’s another chance to take on and show what we can do against a top side.
“We had two great results at Mansfield and Leyton Orient to show how we have progressed as a club and we will be looking to do that again,” he said.
But Wild was frustrated by his side’s home defeat to the Cobblers which left them without a win at Holker Street since November 19.
“It wasn’t a great game and there was nothing between the two sides. I thought we were the better team in the first half but it looked as though it was heading for a 0-0 stalemate.
“We tweaked a couple of things trying to win the game but unfortunately we gave away two goals when both should have been avoided.
“But we have a virtual full squad for Tuesday night and we will go there and hopefully get the positive result we will be looking for,” said Wild.
Barrow will go to fourth-in-the-table Carlisle down to ninth, two points outside the play-off places.
