Two men have been arrested after burglaries in the Lake District.
The men aged 31 and 46 are from the Barrow area were arrested this week in connection with the incidents in Ecclerigg, Windermere.
The first offence was reported on December 6 and the second offence was at the same address and reported on January 17.
The men were arrested on January 30 and have been released on bail until March 4 while enquiries continue.
A police spokesman said: “The arrests are part of an ongoing investigation into similar reports of rural burglaries in the South Cumbria area over the past three months.”
