Barrow Raiders name squad for season opener

Paul Crarey has named his 21-man squad for the Betfred Championship 2023 season opener against Toulouse Olympique.

The Raiders welcome the French side to the Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium providing the first opposition of the season for the relegated Super League side.

Crarey has named eight new signings in the squad, all of whom will be making competitive debuts if involved.

They are: Luke Broadbent, Andrew Bulman, Greg Burke, Rio Corkill, Ben Evans, Jack Wells and Greg Worthington.

Completing the squad are: Sam Brooks, Luke Cresswell, Charlie Emslie, Ellis Gillam, Anton Iaria, Ryan Johnston, Danny Langtree, Nathan Mossop, Jarrod Sammut, Ryan Shaw, Jarrad Stack.

The Toulouse squad is: Olly Ashall-Bott, Reuben Rennie, Mathieu Jussaume, Paul Marcon, Josh Ralph, Jake Shorrocks, Lambert Belmas, Harrison Hansen, Maxime Stefani, Dominique Peyroux, Anthony Marion, Eloi Pelissier, Sitaleki Akauola, Joe Bretherton, Hugo Pezet, Guy Armitage, Benjamin Laguerre, Greg Richards, Dimitri Biscarro, Robin Brochon, Pierre-Jean Lima.

Kick-off is 3pm.
