Workington Reds shareholders annual meeting took less than 15 minutes to wrap up at Borough Park.
But then former chairman Dave Bowden fielded questions on the new stadium project, which came into public view last week.
He gave an insight into how the Sports Village project will develop in the months ahead and fielded questions from shareholders.
It was stressed, however, that more information will be available once the project is underway and then further developed.
What has been revealed is that the first phase, which includes the main stadium, community pitch on the old Lonsdale Park site, and associated facilities will be completed by the end of 2025.
Future phases of development on the site will be announced as funding and demand allows.
Town Deal funding from the Government of £5.4 million has already been secured, along with £1 million from Allerdale Borough Council.
When Cumberland Council takes over services in the area from April 1, the responsibility for the project will pass to the new local authority.
The project is not just to provide a match day stadium for Reds and Town RL as the aim is to turn the Sports Village into a community facility that is busy and active seven days a week.
A project management company, CSV Management Ltd, will be made up of carefully chosen national experts who will bring together the skills needed to set up and manage the planning process, tendering, finances and ongoing business interests of the Sports Village.
Cumberland Sports Village Community Interest Company will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the stadium and its wider facilities.
Earlier all four Reds directors standing again for election were all unanimously reappointed – chairman Phil Norman, vice chairman Richard Lewthwaite, Simon Collins and Kevin Aitken.
The financial statements were approved by the shareholders.
