Barrow Raiders coach Paul Crarey has made just one change to his 21-strong squad for tomorrow’s Championship clash with Sheffield Eagles.

Tom Hopkins comes in for testimonial man Nathan Mossop as Raiders look to open their account after a 24-4 home defeat to Toulouse.

A second successive home game has to be marked with an opening win and Crarey insists his team have to cut out the errors and improve their completion rate.

The Barrow squad is: Broadbent, Brooks, Bulman, Burke, J. Carter, Corkill, Cresswell, Emslie, Evans, Gillam, Hopkins, Iaria, Johnston, Langtree, Sammut, Shaw, Stack, S. Toal, Wells, Wood, Worthington.

Sheffield go into the game on the back of an opening day defeat, 26-18 against Halifax Panthers.

Director of rugby Mark Aston said: “We’ve got a tough follow-up at Barrow because they will be motivated to bounce back after an opening home defeat.

“But we have one or two coming back in and making the final selection will give us some headaches, but good ones to have.”

Sheffield will choose from: Jones-Bishop, Welham, Oakes, Bass, Thackeray, Douglas, Halafihi, Dickinson, Bower, J. Farrell, Hodgson, Gwaze, Wood, Broadbent, Kirk, Murphy, Hansen, Liu, Sene-Lefao, Dawson-Jones, Aston.
