Barrow boss Pete Wild was furious with how his side lost to Newport after a very good performance.
Wild, however, admitted he had to tone down his comments after Rory Feely was sent off 10 minutes from the end.
If I said what I really think, I’ll get fined,” said the Barrow boss.
“The lads have been brilliant, they’ve worked their socks off to be ruined by something they can’t control.
“If we play like that every week we will win more games than we lose and we need to take the positives and take the defeat against Newport County on the chin.”
It was a highly controversial red card shown to Feely in the 81st minute, to force Barrow to play out the game with 10 men.
With most spectators, and the players as well, expecting a yellow card for Feely’s tackle the referee produced a red one.
In the fifth minute of time added on Micky Demetriou took full advantage of the extra man, as he rose the highest to snatch a point away from The Bluebirds.
