A special meeting to underline the inclusive nature of football at Barrow’s SO Legal Stadium is being held this Friday.
It will be the first official meeting of the Proud Bluebirds, in the Cross Bar from 5.30pm to 7pm.
The club says it will be a chance for fans to come together who identify in the LBGTQ+ community but open to anyone to attend who consider themselves allies of the LGBTQ+ community.
Also, in attendance will be first team players, and there will be opportunities to ask them questions.
A club statement said: “This meeting will be a chance for the group to appoint a new chair and to set out its aims and objectives going forward as the group looks to make the SO Legal Stadium a place that welcomes everyone in the community.”
