Firefighters were called to a large grassed area on fire in Barrow.
Two fire engines attended the incident which took place on West Shore Road at 6.58pm yesterday.
Crews used a light portable pump and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for two hours and twenty minutes.
