Workington Town coach Anthony Murray is looking forward to the next two games against leading League Two sides.
First up are Doncaster away in the third round of the Challenge Cup on Sunday and then it’s Dewsbury at home in the League.
Murray said: “It’s going to be interesting to see just where we are at because they are going to be among the leading sides this season.
“Doncaster have been at two successive finals and missed out and they have a very good coach and an experienced, well-disciplined group of players.
“It’s going to be a good test for us after watching a video of their game on Sunday.”
Murray will be without two of the players who starred in the previous round against amateurs Ince Rose Bridge.
Man of the match Caine Barnes is unavailable while goal-kicking half-back Cieran Walker is out of action through illness.
Blain Marwood who was an absentee for that Cup contest is still missing with a wrist injury.
It means that trialist Jack Mallinson is likely to start at half-back alongside Fergus Simpson.
“He’s still got a week left with us on trial and then we will make a decision. He’s done well in training and when he came on in the Cup game.”
