Stagecoach has announced its new summer timetable for its Lake District services.

The new Summer Lakes by Bus guide for 2023 comes into force on Monday, March 27, and covers routes within the Lake District National Park, as well as those that link with the region.

The number six service between Barrow and Windermere continues to run in 2023, allowing visitors to hop off for a stroll around National Trust-owned Fell Foot Park near Newby Bridge.

Rob Jones, managing director of Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancashire, said: “We’re really pleased to be able to announce our new summer timetable for the Lake District. As the cost of living crisis continues, staycations are expected to be extremely popular this summer, we also look forward to meeting all the first-time visitors.

“Getting around the Lake District by bus is easy and relaxing; take a break from driving and explore the tranquil waters and outstanding scenery of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.”

The Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancashire Summer 2023 timetable will remain in force until Sunday November 5.
