Barrow are still chasing a promotion play-off place after a superb stoppage time winner by Robbie Gotts against Gillingham.
His thundering effort in the fourth minute of time added on gave the Bluebirds a 2-1 home win to keep them in the hunt.
It had looked to be heading for a draw when the Gills produced an 82nd minute equaliser from Conor Masterson.
But then Gotts chose the perfect time to score his first goal of the season to send the home fans into raptures.
They are now just five points away from the last play-off place and although games are running out they still believe they can squeeze their way into the end-of-season deciders.
Gillingham keeper Glenn Morris was unlucky to concede an own goal after just nine minutes when a clearance hit him in the back and rebounded into the net.
But it was Morris who was largely responsible for keeping the Barrow lead at 1-0 as he made a number of excellent stops, usually to thwart Barrow’s top scorer Josh Gordon.
Josh Kay was also denied by Morris and on the stroke of half-time Gordon saw his header come back off the post.
They weren’t as close in the second-half and it looked as though those earlier Morris saves would be good enough for Gillingham when the visitors equalised.
Masterson was unmarked in the box when Alex MacDonald put over an inviting cross and the subsequent header found the net.
Fortunately Barrow were reprieved by Gotts powerful effort deep into stoppage time.
