Penrith firefighters were called out at around 4.30am today to tackle a wheelie bin fire in school grounds.
A fire engine was called to Wetheriggs Lane and discovered the bin will alight in the grounds of Ullswater Community College.
Police were called because it was unknown whether the fire was deliberate or accidental.
