Tickets are selling fast for the first Taste Cumbria Comedy Night to be held in Wigton but there are still a few left.

The main food festival takes place on Saturday April 22, with the comedy night kicking off the weekend on Friday April 21.

It will be held at the Market Hall from 7pm and tickets cost just £8 plus a booking fee.

The MC for the evening is Cumbrian festival favourite Mike Wilkinson who’s compered many of the Taste Cumbria Comedy Nights – even surviving getting stuck in a loo with a dodgy lock when he was performing at one of the Maryport events! He has supported the likes of Jason Manford, Peter Kay, Johnny Vegas and Ross Noble, as well as headlining clubs all over the country.

He’ll be joined by rising star Harry Stachini whose skilful storytelling shows skill beyond his years. Closing the evening is circuit veteran and ‘all round mirth machine’, Silky.

Tickets for the comedy night are on sale now. Visit https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/taste-comedy-wigton-tickets-596982589997
