Workington Reds fans hoping to buy tickets for this weekend’s match against Runcorn Linnets on the gate are warned that they may not get in.
Phil Norman, Workington Reds chairman, said ticket sales had been phenomenal for the promotion play-off game tomorrow, with 2,000 already sold.
He said: “We are urging fans to buy tickets in advance as we are likely to sell out today. We are issuing a ticket warning that it is unlikely any tickets will be available on the gate.
“Please buy tickets online or at the office, which will remain open until 7pm today.”
