Be sure to also let us know how your day is going and a little bit about why you decided to celebrate.
The coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla will take place on Saturday May 6 and will be followed by a televised pop concert on the evening of Sunday May 7.
Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Paloma Faith, Olly Murs and Take That are among the musicians confirmed to be playing the concert and A-listers Tom Cruise and Dame Joan Collins alongside other stars such as new Doctor Who’s newest Doctor, Ncuti Gatwa will also be attending.
The specially-formed Coronation Choir will also perform alongside Andrea Bocelli and bass-baritone Sir Bryn Terfel and more.
The Sunday centrepiece will be a light show involving projections, lasers, a drone display and illuminations at various locations across the UK.
Where can I watch the coronation live?
Both the coronation and concert will be shown live in two venues at Carlisle’s Victoria Park – part of Bitts Park – and Workington Leisure Centre’s big screen.
All events are free to attend, and timings have been extended on both days to coincide with the confirmed coronation timetable.
While Carlisle’s events will include food and drink stalls, visitors to Workington’s event are advised to bring their own food or picnic to watch.
All events are family friendly and no alcohol is allowed.
It includes the screening of two family films – Frozen and The Greatest Showman – and the live screening of King’s Coronation Concert. The event is likely to end around 10pm.
