Comedian Paddy McGuiness has been handed a parking fine after a weekend walk in the Lake District.
The television presenter spent his bank holiday Saturday on May 7 hiking The Old Man of Coniston and posted several selfies and pictures to Instagram after reaching the summit.
As part of the pictures he posted, McGuiness also revealed he had been landed with a parking fine after returning to his car at the end of his walk.
He also confirmed that he got the parking ticket in Walna Scar car park – which became a pay and display car park in recent years and is located at the end of a steep hill just outside the village of Coniston

Despite the fine, his post caption remained upbeat as he called the mountain a ‘belter’ and said his ramble to the top had been lovely while also going on to joke that he felt like the ‘old man of Bolton’.
Fans were quick to comment and tell the star that he had made their day with the pictures and several people asked him to come and visit surrounding areas including Grasmere.
