Cumbria Police are dealing with an incident on Hardknott Pass.
The constabulary have posted a statement to their social media saying a cyclist is involved and Helimed is currently at the scene.
The Lake District hill pass is one of the steepest hills in the UK and forms part of the Fred Whitton Challenge, a 112 mile cycling race taking place today that takes top cyclists six to 11 hours to complete.
